I have made many games in Scratch since third grade, some were good, most were not good becasue I tried to do things that were unreasonable to expect from a block-based 2d game engine for little kids with a 10mb file size limmit. But I didn't realize my first project in Computer Science this year would be yet another Scratch game. So my friend and I decided to make a highly ambitious turn based fighting RPG with real 48x48 pixel sprite-work for characters and enemies done by me in Asprite and Pixelify and an origional soundtrack done by him in Soundtrap. Honestly, we should be programing the game in something other than Scratch, but the assignment said Scratch, so Scratch it is. The game is called Murder Man Chronicles 2025: 2026 Remaster (Remastered) Legendary Edition, which is a joke about how many big studios name their games these days. The goal of the game it to get past all the enemies in the castle and kill the princess cause we don't like her but we do like breaking rules of game development. Here is a mockup made in google slides and some footage of what we have right now.
